WNBA, USWNT … and Dubya’s Very Own Monica!

From the WNBA, here’s a report on how this year’s crop of rookies are faring. From Candace Parker we, of course, expected great. It’s awesome, however, to see the impact of the Charde Houston’s and Candice Wiggins’ and Nicky Anoskie’s of the group. (The Minnesota Lynx seem to have fared especially well on the rookie front!)

Meanwhile, I’ve been aiming to highlight the Buddy Blog for some time - but other things have intruded. This is the back-and-forth between current rivals/former teammates/current Olympic teammates … Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. It’s a hoot. The latest post is about Olympic preparations (and a tad more serious than most).

On the USWNT front, we’ve got Andrea Canales’ commentary on Sideline Views.

And then, of course, there’s the Justice Department … I guess it’s now required that every administration have a Monica??!!
