Palin is not the brightest bulb in the pack... in fact, she's more like a parrot or a cute, trainable pet that everyone says is "so smart" because they can learn to mimic human behavior. Palin has, at best, a rudimentary understanding of the issues that are important not only in this presidential race, but to our country as a whole. Republicans love her because she's "one of us" and they're right! She can repeat the sound bites, and recite the dogma...probably learned everything she knows by watching 15-20 minutes of Fox News every night, but by and large has no real understanding of the world around her. Sure she's charming, and has a homespun, country girl demeanor, but deep down (and by deep I mean about 1-2 cm) there's not much substance.
