First, congratulations to gymnasts Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson on their gold and silver in the all around, and to Michael Phelps on his 6th gold and 6th world record.
On the Browne front, I love it that Jackson Browne is suing the McCain campaign for stealing his music. How dumb are they? Another example of McCain’s management acumen, I guess. Okay, so it wasn’t actually the McCain campaign … it was the Ohio Republican party or something like that. But you know what, John – you can’t split hairs like that when you’re Prez (goddess help us). You’ll be in charge of the Ohio Republican party, too!
Meanwhile, on the soccer front, I dreamed I was playing goalie (lacrosse – but same ‘ballpark’) and was on fire. NOTHING was getting through me! Here’s to Hope having a day like that today … and Kai getting on the scoreboard … along with a few of her compatriots in those US jersey’s.
The Boston Breakers are hosting another chat with Tony DiCicco this morning (started at 5:30 AM and will continue through the game – with Tony joining at the half and end, if it’s like last time.) Here’s the USSF preview. And the latest from the Blog. The sun is coming up here in NH … looks like we’re about ready to roll!
